Jennifer S Holifield

I currently focus my practice on Business Law, Business Litigation, Contracts, Real Estate Law, Employment Law, Insurance Defense, Collections, and Aviation Law.  My firm is a full-service, but small law firm.  We offer the vigor and quality of a large firm with the communication and high degree of personal attention you would expect to find in a smaller firm.  Our services are broad and encompass most civil litigation work.

We are dedicated to offering quality legal services by utilizing our vast experience, as well as our legal resources throughout the southeast region of the United States.  Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi.  In addition, our attorneys are admitted to the U.S. Tax Court, the Northern, Middle and Southern District Federal Courts of Alabama, and the Eleventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, as well as various federal courts in our sister states and the United States Supreme Court.  We are also able to practice in other jurisdictions with the assistance of local counsel and pro hac vice admission.

I was Editor in Chief, Journal of the Legal Profession in 2005 until 2006.  I authored “Taking Law School One Course at a Time:  Making Better Lawyers by Using a Focused Course Study in Law School,” 30 J. Legal Profession 129, Spring 2006.  I also authored “Avoiding Bad Faith Claims for the Insurance Professional,” NBI Seminar, Bad Faith Insurance Claims in Alabama, November, 2007, Mobile, Alabama, and “Calculation of Awards,” Sterling Education Seminar, Worker’s Compensation Law & Practice, July 2013, Mobile, Alabama.  I was a member of Bench and Bar Honor Society.  I also participated in Phi Delta Phi and held office as Treasurer in 2005 until 2006.  I am currently a member of the Mobile Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, Florida State Bar, and Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.

I am also an active member of the Lions Club of Mobile and a frequent volunteer in the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyer Program.
