Tyler Thomas Sims

Tyler T. Sims, an accomplished attorney, began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Statistical Analysis from Stetson University, followed by a law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he specialized in advocacy and dispute resolution. His commitment to justice was evident during his time as Director of the pro bono association, where he coordinated numerous legal clinics, such as those for the 2016 Smoky Mountain wildfire victims. Tyler's legal acumen is well-rounded, with practical experience in multiple district attorney offices and clerkships in both Tennessee and Florida. Licensed to practice in Alabama, Tennessee, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, Tyler is the current bar commissioner for the 40th Judicial Circuit. Residing with his wife and children in Lineville, Alabama, Tyler actively engages in community service, holding positions on local boards and associations.
