With an impressive 29 years of trial experience, Les Pittman stands as a seasoned legal professional who has successfully handled numerous cases across the State of Alabama. His dedication to the legal field is underscored by his membership in the Montgomery & Lee County Bar Association, where he held the esteemed position of president in 2007. Furthermore, Les served as a Bar Commissioner for the 15th Judicial Circuit of Alabama. Before embarking on his legal career, Les dedicated three years to the United States Marine Corps, where he served with distinction and received an honorable discharge with the rank of corporal. He pursued his legal education at Jones School of Law while concurrently working as a marketing representative for Alabama Gas Corporation, demonstrating his commitment to both academic excellence and professional growth. Les's journey in the legal realm led him to Beasley Allen in 1993, where he made significant contributions to the firm's success. By 1999, he had ascended to the position of shareholder. In 2005, Les decided to chart his own path and co-founded James & Pittman, P.C., a venture he remained dedicated to until 2013. In 2013, he took the bold step of establishing Pittman Law Firm, which has since expanded its presence to offices in Montgomery and Auburn. Beyond his legal career, Les has displayed a profound commitment to community engagement. In Montgomery, he actively coached junior high basketball, YMCA football, and basketball, as well as little league baseball. His contributions extend to tutoring inner-city children through the First Baptist Church tutoring program. Notably, in 2002, Les was celebrated as the "Biggest Rat in Town" for raising over $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. In 2013, he chaired the School Improvement Committee for Bear Exploration Center, spearheading efforts that secured $40,000 for school enhancements. Les has also served as the president of the Jimmy Hitchcock Award, an organization that recognizes outstanding Christian student-athletes in Montgomery. Since relocating to Auburn in 2020, Les has embraced community involvement with equal vigor. He actively participates in F3 (Faith, Fellowship, Fitness), lends his coaching expertise to his daughter's soccer team, and avidly supports a diverse array of Auburn University sporting events.
