Evan Gregory Allen

Evan joined Beasley Allen Law Firm full-time in 2012. He works in the firm’s Personal Injury Section, primarily handling on-the-job product liability cases.

Notable Cases

Evan and Beasley Allen lawyer Kendall Dunson recently secured a $500,000 verdict on behalf of an injured furnace operator.

He has handled and settled many cases involving defective machine design, inadequate guarding and the removal of safety devices. Evan has also handled negligent installation and maintenance cases involving tires and heavy trucks.

Professional Associations

A member of the Alabama State Bar, Evan currently serves as treasurer for the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section and as a member of the 2017-2018 Pro Bono Committee. He also serves on the Alabama Head Injury Foundation Junior Board Chapter.

Awards and Ratings

Evan volunteers his time and is very active in the Montgomery County Volunteer Lawyer Program, receiving the 2016 and 2017 Medal of the Samaritan in recognition of his outstanding pro bono legal services. Evan provided over 50 hours of pro bono service and was also recognized by The Alabama Access to Justice Commission for that work.

Background

Evan has worked with the firm for many years. He began as a mail clerk and runner, and worked two summers as a law clerk while attending Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. He earned his J.D. from the Jones School of Law in 2012, where he was a recipient of the Eagle Scholarship. Before attending Jones, he graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2009 with a degree in political science.

Community Involvement

Evan serves on the YMCA Boys Work Committee, which raises money for the Montgomery YMCA, particularly the youth football leagues.

He and his wife, Cameron, who have one son, Rawlins, attend the Church of the Ascension. In his spare time, Evan enjoys saltwater fishing, hunting and SCUBA diving.
