Chad Wesley Bryan

I'm a shareholder in my firm’s litigation section, with a concentration on defending claims for personal injury/wrongful death (including claims for trucking liability, liquor liability, premises liability, and products liability). I currently serve as the insurance defense attorney for a number of insurance companies throughout the State of Alabama, as well as for various governmental agencies for the State of Alabama.

I also devote a significant portion of my practice to post-judgment and appellate litigation, routinely handling appellate matters in both State and Federal appellate courts. I have represented clients in all three State appellate courts and have conducted oral arguments before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Most recently, I served as lead appellate counsel in class action litigation involving Alabama’s Prepaid Affordable College Tuition Program.

I believe in fostering client loyalty through efficiency, candor, and personal relationships. To that end, I work closely with clients to develop realistic budgets and explore cost-effective approaches to all types of litigation. If early resolution cannot be achieved, I advocate for an aggressive approach that will place each case in the best posture for summary judgment, mediation, or trial.

I have served as head of my firm’s recruiting committee and currently serve on my firm’s Board of Directors.
