legal battles can go on for years probably normal. when you feel like your atorney has joined the other side then the breakdown of trust is gone. the other side attorney is telling my attorney, have you got her to take the deal and thanks for your help and understanding. you pay the attorney for advi...ce at the get go and then you submit your paperwork to the court regarding your law suit..you find out years later in mediation that the main part of the case that was submitted does not apply to your lawsuit. I guess it took a more knowledge atorney representing the other side and a mediator to point that fact out to your atorney. very sad and disappointed. I would have liked to have been prepared by my attorney before going to mediation..felt attacked. I am sure that was not the mediator's intent but that was the feeling. I felt my atorney just agreed with everything the mediator said presented no argument about the case to the mediator.I felt like both attornies and the mediator knew the outcome before I walked in the door.
