Education.
Josh Pendergrass was the first person in his immediate family to go to and graduate from college. He attended Lambuth University where he served as both President and Vice President of the Student Body. He graduated with a degree in Political Science with a minor in Communications, with University Honors. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar after sitting for the bar exam. Josh also holds a Master of Theological Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Experience.
Since passing the bar, Attorney Joshua Pendergrass has been focused on doing right by his clients because they and their cases matter. He has practiced across the state of Alabama in both trial courts and appellate courts. He has tried numerous cases in both Alabama District Courts and Alabama Circuit Courts. He previously served as Communications Director for Governor Kay Ivey and has a background in political consulting. His focus is on church law, criminal law, family law, litigation, and probate law. He also handles personal injury cases. He has filed briefs in Alabama appeals courts. He has also been on the team to file briefs in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and the Ninth Circuits. His philosophy on his cases is simple: if you need a lawyer, you probably aren't having the best day; his job is to help you see light at the end of the tunnel and figure out how to reach it.

Lawyer Josh Pendergrass is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the United States District Court, and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is involved in sections of the Alabama State Bar and is an active member in the Autauga County Bar Association. Josh has been recognized as a leader in the River Region and serves many community and non-profit organizations. He has been named to the "Top 20 Under 40" by the Prattville-Autauga County Chamber of Commerce. He is a former president of the Prattville Rotary Club and is one of two persons elected by the voters of Autauga County to represent them on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Republican Party; he is also a member of the Autauga County Executive Committee where he previously served as Secretary.

Personal.
In addition to his law practice, Josh has been both a full-time and part-time pastor. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting watches and officiating high school sports. His wife is a nurse practitioner, and they have one son. The family attends Coosada Baptist Church.
