Legal Permanent Resident Granted Cancellation by Immigration Judge
Nov 11, 2016OUTCOME: After four months of going to Immigration Court, the Immigration Judge allowed her to keep her green card and remain in the United States.
Around 2014, a 56 year old grandmother was convicted of child abuse and sentenced to 330 days in jail. She obtained her legal permanent resident status in 2006. In 2016, she was picked up by ICE at h ... ome. She was detained at the Santa Ana jail while she went through deportation proceeding with an immigration judge. We were hired to represent her in Immigration Court and fought to keep her green card.
