Saved a dog's life
Apr 01, 2022OUTCOME: We won the case, the order to kill the dog was vacated, and the dog was returned to the owner. The owner was extremely happy, and left a great review.
A new prospective client called me on a Friday, said the court had just ruled that his dog was a dangerous dog (he was self-represented) and that it must be killed. He only had until Monday to file a M ... otion to Reconsider to stop the execution, and to request a new hearing. We charged a very affordable rate, prepared an excellent motion and legal brief over the weekend, filed it on Monday. We receive a new hearing, which lasted 2 days. I prepared for and attended the hearing, and argued why the court was wrong in its decision.
