The client was charged with First Degree Murder. He had a significant mental health history and was not sane of the time of the crime. Conducted research into family history and mental health history ... of client, mother, father and siblings from childhood to present. Conducted interviews with mental health professionals and family members. At bench trial presented three mental health experts and conducted successful cross-examination of State's mental health expert. Client was acquitted and found not guilty by reason of insanity.
