KIDNAPPED; no time for evidence or trial

I never spoke with him on the phone. I spoke with a receptionist once and a client liaison ( Karen) and after that I was encouraged to use their text messaging service asking for a 5 star rating. I messaged him/ the office 35+ times graveling for a face to face meeting in his office, a contract, an...d even tried to give them a credit card to keep on file to draft regular payments on the same day of each month to be stipulated in the contract. No response. I begged them to get the false positive tests from DHR I had to pay for them to send it to the lab for extensive testing. No response. He tried to convince me that I had forgotten about using with a friend or something bc the test was so dark. I told him unless he wanted me to lie, I had not used anything illegal. Then he says in an exasperated, condescending tone “ So you want to send it off to be tested?” I replied “ I didn’t know that was an option of course I want to send it off” Again in the same demeaning tone “ Well it cost 50$ cash, do you even have 50$? I said yes I do, I just need to take it out of the atm, and I used the atm in the courthouse. The sad part is when DHR knocked on my door I asked for a warrant and they did not have one, the judge never ordered drug test because there wasn’t any evidence to order a drug test. He did not defend us or our rights, we were denied our 72 hour hearing, they had a ex parte hearing and excluded us. The last message I sent him said if we don’t take our son home with us today, please set a trial date so I can face whoever is making these false accusations about me. He scheduled an ISP meeting, he scheduled it, and confirmed the time with me twice stating he would be there. Then he left my hearing early and had an attorney I had never spoken to stand in for him. The next day at the ISP meeting he scheduled he called my sons father and said he had a hearing run long so he would be participating via speaker phone. I thought you hired an attorney to protect your rights, uphold the law, and speak on your behalf so your attorney/client privilege could be protected. How is that possible with a room full of people, involving extremely emotional situations. I had several questions I wanted to ask before we went into the meeting like WHY? They took my child and didn’t have a warrant, allegedly bc of a fall my mother had in the wee hours of the morning and then an investigator tells me a drug test would have cleared everything up. Well the false positive came back I paid for but I am still in an i ISP meeting. I did not sign the confidentiality agreement so I could not stay. So visitation with my son had to be workout with this distant relative who cant have kids anymore and wanted 2. I have not been allowed to see my child in 13 months. We did not know that Word had signed into court as counsel for the mother instead of counsel for the parents, so he gives the dad some bs about it being a conflict. His dad was the only one that had any contact with him at all. When he left early from the hearing DHR lawyer nails him for child support and he never had a trial or anything. The worst part is, we were living in a semi, and he sends me an email resigning from my case citing a breakdown in communication with the mother and proceeding with the case would be futile. We were somewhere in the Midwest. I called and called begging for continuance. So they got custody of my only child I had at 42, which I was told would never make it to term and sent home with miscarriage paperwork. I went through the pregnancy alone, I was checked in for an emergency c-section alone, not one family member there. Now they have legally kidnapped my entire world and I can’t understand, other than the ineptitude of the attorney I retained is the only way they got away with this heinous act. Do not hire this man. Insist on a contract for yourself. He is out of the office for the week frequently or so I was told, and don’t give any stars until your case is over.

This man is not a Godly man

Me and my fiancee hired this man to represent us both he did not show up to appointments and I later found out he wasn't representing me. He literally got nothing done whatsoever. He then started charging us without crediting it to our account. After a few months of that we stopped paying and had pay...ed over $3000.00 and they send us an ultimatum letter telling us to pay or they are dropping us as a client. This man is not a Christian he is getting rich on people's suffering. All you can do for people like him is pray for him.

TERRIBLE & SCARED

I paid him upfront. Gave him evidence and told him what my ex wife had done. He would not use the evidence or ask the questions. He cost me full custody of my kids.

Pitiful

I hired Mr. Word due to a recommendation from a friend. I had more than enough evidence to win my case. I feel I did more work on my own case than he did. When we went to court, I had every document I needed to win my case yet he simply never entered any of it into the case. He was supposed to provid...e a statement to the judge and he never did which I feel cost me my entire case. My ex wife lied continuously on the stand and I told the entire truth, but when the judge stated I was less than truthful, Mr. Word never attempted to show the proof that my ex wife was lying. He simply said, "I'm sorry." He is a Godly man, but he does not have the guts to stand up to other attorneys. I woild NOT recommend him.
