Jason Lynn Britt used to be a father, he used to be a husband, but he messed up both of those titles for himself. I’m almost 16 years old, and I’ve made it this far without my father, and it hasn’t set me back but only given me more balls than he ever had no pun intended. I remember when you choked m...y mother against the bathroom wall while I stood and watched. I remember every time you slapped the back of my head for getting a math question wrong. I remember every single promise you made to me and never made up to your word. I remember every single argument. I remember every single happy memory that ended in an argument between you and my mother or between you and one of your used-up girlfriends. But at the end of the day, I don’t think about you anymore, but what hurts most is that you were my father, and you were supposed to be there for me, and you never were. I tried too hard to believe you were a decent man, but you aren’t and it hurts me more to say that than anything else. I wish you were the man I thought you were, but you will never care enough about me to even try to go to rehab long enough to even see me in person. Then you come up with some lame excuse that you don’t want to interfere with my life, yet you messed me up utterly and completely, Jason. You ended up just like your father. In fact, you are worse than Jim ever was. I shouldn’t have to call law firm to law firm to even get you to read my opinion. You are a sorry one ball sack of a man, and you should have never had kids because, trust me, when you think your life is fine and going well, I will be the one who makes sure you never see daylight, only honey buns and gay men. And it’s pretty sad that you had every single chance to be a better man and a better husband and father, and you never chose to do so So, I have an amazing boyfriend who’s shown me what a man can be, and you are a sorry excuse for a father, husband, brother, and son and if I were you would’ve made myself a chandler decoration.
