I grew up in Hickory Valley, Tennessee, on the border of White and Van Buren Counties. Before becoming a lawyer, I taught middle and high school students at Van Buren County High School and Maplewood High School.
Seeing a need for affordable legal services in rural communities, I decided to go to law school at Belmont College of Law. At Belmont, I served as President of the Criminal Law Society and interned with the District Attorney’s Office in Nashville. While I focused on criminal law, I excelled in all of my coursework, earning eight best performance awards and graduating second in my class.
When you choose me, you choose a lawyer who will tirelessly work on your case and who is available to talk outside of regular business hours. Each case is important to me. You’re not just a number. You deserve a lawyer who will treat you that way.
