File suit and get the police to watch him leaving school. Charge with following too close and/or stalking.(felony)

It is your case. You tell your attorney what you want to do. If he does not agree, you can get another attorney.(you may have to pay costs)

Hard to change testimony unless made shortly after accident while injured. Call and talk to your adjuster. Good idea to tell the truth.
