Probably nothing. If he left no money that is not yours or assets, they will write it off. You are not responsible.

Normal fees are 1/3 of recovery in most jurisdictions. Some attorneys charge more, and some charge less. No money out of your pocket.

I would talk to an attorney and see if they can handle case from Alabama. If not, you will have to hire an attorney in Georgia.

There is no law on how late on payments you must be to be sued. Talk to the companies and see if they will let you pay in January. They do not...

That is a very slippery question. You do not want to get charged with interfering with custody. I would talk to a local attorney.

They can sue you before you get into bankruptcy. It can normally be discharged in bankruptcy unless you were drunk or something in accident. ...
