Biography
My law practice emphasis includes representation of local government and defense of civil rights litigation, primarily defense of law enforcement officers accused of professional misconduct. I also frequent lecture throughout the region on issues relating to police civil liability and teaches local officers through the Huntsville Police Department Academy (APOST Certified).
I am admitted to practice law in Alabama state courts, all federal courts within the State of Alabama, the fifth, sixth, and eleventh United States Circuit Courts, and the United States Supreme Court.
I graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1980, where I served as Managing Editor of the Alabama Law Review.
