Joseph is a native of New Hope, Alabama. He is a third generation attorney serving Madison County. He received his law degree from Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. Joseph is the Owner/President of the law firm of Joseph T. Conwell, III, P.C. and Owner/President of Conwell Title & Escrow, Inc. Prior to opening his own firm and title company he practiced with the Rahmati Law Firm and served as the managing attorney over the firms Real Estate Department from October 2011 to April 2015. Prior joining Rahmati Law Firm, Joseph was in private practice for 11 years with his father J. Thomas Conwell, Jr., in the firm of Conwell & Conwell. He has handled a wide variety of legal matters ranging from Capitol Murder/Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Wills, Estates, Real Estate Transactions, and Drafting and Preparing Corporate and Business Entity Documentation. Joseph is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Huntsville Madison County Bar Association.
He graduated High School from Madison Academy in 1990. He attended undergraduate school at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee where he received a BBA in Business Management in 1994.
Joseph serves as deacon over missions at the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ. Joseph, his wife Crista and their children live in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.
Admitted to Practice: Alabama 2000, Federal District Court for the Northern District of Alabama 2000.
