also known as Allen L. Anderson J.D., CPCM
As a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), and AV Peer Review Rated Attorney with over fifteen years of experience, I focus my practice in the areas of commercial, construction, and employment law; police and public employee, and county and municipal, litigation; and commercial, construction, and government contracting, representing public and private and domestic and international businesses and local government entities. Client engagements range from contract negotiation and support, to human resources advice and training, to dispute resolution before a variety of local, state, and federal administrative boards, such as the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals; arbitration panels, such as the American Arbitration Association – Commercial, Construction, and Labor and Employment Divisions; and state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. I also serve as an appointed Hearing Officer (or arbitrator) with National Arbitration and Mediation (NAM), an administrator of arbitrations and mediations throughout the U.S., and with respect to disputes arising before NAM in areas of commercial, construction, and employment law. I am a member of several business and industry groups, including the Alabama Contractors’ Association (ACA); Alabama Road Builders' Association (ARBA), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Institute for Supply Management (ISM), National Contract Management Association (NCMA), and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and am frequently invited by both clients and industry to write and lecture throughout the U.S. and abroad, particularly in areas of contract negotiation, human resources, risk identification and avoidance, and dispute resolution. Additionally, I hold the designation of Certified Instructor on “Legal Issues” for the Alabama Peace Officers Standards & Training Commission (APOSTC).
