Biography
Justin graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2009 and graduated magna cum laude with his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alabama in 2006. He has been practicing law since 2009 at The Lackey Law Firm. Justin focuses his practice on Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Auto Accidents, Truck Wrecks, Injury Law, Criminal Defense, DUI and Traffic, and Civil Litigation.
Justin grew up in Jackson County, AL and graduated from Scottsboro High School in 2003 with an Advanced Diploma. He has two sisters, Jennifer Lackey and Lauren Lackey. Lauren recently graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Master's Degree and Jennifer practices law with Justin at The Lackey Law Firm. Justin is married to Lauren Durham Lackey of Scottsboro, Alabama. They have two children.
He is a member of the State Democratic Executive Committee, the Executive Committee of the Jackson County Bama Club, Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a former member of the Board of Directors of The Promenade and The Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc. He is the past president of the Jackson County Bama Club. Justin is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
As a student at the UA School of Law, Justin participated in Trial Advocacy for Criminal Litigation and the Criminal Defense Clinic. He received an Excellence for the Future Award in the Criminal Defense Clinic
