United States vs. Alfred Atsus
Feb 07, 2025OUTCOME: Not Guilty
I had the honor of representing Mr. Alfred Atsus alongside Jason Mattioli in a nearly four-week trial, culminating in the jury's three-day deliberation, which resulted in our client's acquittal from al ... l charges. Working with exceptional litigators during this trial was indeed a remarkable experience. Despite the verdict, observing attorneys Patrick Casey, Matthew Clemente, and Gino Bartoli passionately advocate for their clients against a formidable United States Attorney's Office team was inspiring. The bonds formed during this trial have blossomed into lasting friendships and professional connections with immense value. I am eager to stand by these individuals in any future legal battles. I thank Adam Sipler and the dedicated team at Myers Brier & Kelly, LLP, for their unwavering support throughout the extensive discovery process. Their expertise in organizing over 50,000 pages of documents and numerous hours of video and audio recordings was exceptional. As emphasized by Jason, the weight of responsibility is profound when entrusted with a client's liberty and freedom. This trust is a constant reminder of the dedication required to deliver the best possible defense. The sacrifices made by our families and friends do not go unnoticed, as their understanding and support fuel our commitment to securing justice for our clients. The sense of accomplishment when our efforts result in a successful defense is gratifying.
