Maggie K Coan

Maggie Coan Witt is a solo practitioner and owner of Maggie Coan Witt, LLC located in Decatur, Alabama. Originally from Russellville, Alabama and a 2013 graduate of Russellville High School, Maggie is dedicated to serving the people of North Alabama.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Alabama in 2017 and moved on to receive her law degree, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in May of 2020. While a law student, Maggie acted as the Online Managing Editor for the Cumberland Law Review and served as the President of Cumberland Women in Law society. She also earned a Scholar of Merit for Products Liability in Spring of 2019.

She focuses her practice on a variety of different areas including family law, probate law, estate planning and personal injury all throughout the North Alabama area. She is passionate about using her knowledge of numerous areas of the law to help counsel clients through extremely emotional and sometimes confusing situations. She strives to make her clients feel heard and appreciated while also advising them on what might be best for them moving forward.

Outside of the office, Maggie enjoys antique shopping, spending time with her friends and family, and using her creative and artistic talents. She is a new mother to a baby girl, who is the joy of her and her husband's lives!
