James Coleman King

James King represented my case for two years. At which time Mr. King filed a motion to withdraw and a lien against my case. Mr King filed the motion to withdrawal and the lien 42 days before my case was set for trial. Because of Mr kings unethical actions, I was unable to retain futher counsel. I wa...s forced to contact the company attorney and settle my case myself. Mr. King sent an attorney from his firm to the settlement hearing requesting 15% and expenses. The judge suggested to myself and the attorney that Mr. King sent, that we settle our differences and Mr. Kings firm finish handling my case. The attorney Mr. King sent said they will be glad to represent me and finish handling my case. This completely contradicts Mr Kings withdrawal from my case. I refused to let Kings firm represent me. After listening to my reasons why Mr. King should not recieve 15% and the aledged expenses and the attorney's reasoning as to why mr. kings firm is intilted to 15% and the aledged expenses, the Judge greatly reduced the percentage and the amount of the expenses Mr King was claiming.
