Hunter Darrell Brown

Hunter Brown, originally from Prattville, Alabama, relocated to Tuscaloosa in 2009 to pursue his education at the University of Alabama. Graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2013 with a degree in Political Science, he then continued his academic journey at the University of Alabama School of Law. Upon obtaining his law degree in 2016, attorney Brown ventured to Washington, D.C., where he served as Legislative Counsel for Senator Jeff Sessions on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Subsequently, he transitioned to the Department of Justice as an Attorney Advisor within the DOJ’s Office of Legislative Affairs. Returning to Tuscaloosa, he assumed the role of Assistant District Attorney under District Attorney Hays Webb, handling a diverse array of criminal cases, from traffic violations to serious felony offenses. Attorney Brown now primarily focuses his private practice on criminal defense, encompassing DUI, drug charges, and domestic violence, alongside personal injury and wrongful death cases. Admitted to practice in all state and municipal courts in Tuscaloosa County and West Alabama, he is an active member of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar Association, dedicated to providing quality representation to his clients with unwavering dedication and integrity.
