Bret Reynolds Smith

Bret R. Smith failed to produce a mediation agreement that could withstand judicial review. The agreement drafted during mediation, which included the basic forms used to calculate child support, was later overturned by the court. The judge specifically referenced the “glaring errors” made by Mr. Smi...th as the reason for overturning the order. Because the order was overturned, the entire process—at a cost of approximately $10,000—was rendered ineffective. Mediation is meant to resolve disputes, not create additional problems. The lack of legal accuracy and attention to detail resulted in extra litigation and expenses that could have been avoided. I attempted to contact Mr. Smith and his secretary at Browne House Law Group multiple times but received no response. I would not use Bret Smith again and do not recommend him for mediation or legal services.

Bret was excellent lawyer who was very patient with me regarding all the the questions I had. He stuck with me through the entire year of the issues I had while getting every concern I had resolved in my and my kids best interest. Going back and forth to court could be extremely frustrating but Bret ...made that process tolerable by keeping me in the loop with everything that was going ok and being filed.

Throughout the whole process, Bret was constantly giving us options and outcomes. He heard us out and fought for what we wanted and nothing less! He was prompt and professional throughout our entire time with him and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had approached many other lawyers a...bout our case and we were told that we would have to compromise our goals, but not with Bret. In the end, we received exactly what we wanted thanks to his determination and expertise. Would highly recommend using Bret!
