Robert Milton Echols Jr.

I want to let it be known that Mr. Echols is an outstanding lawyer and besides my word, his record speaks for itself. Every lawyer will not be a perfect fit for your needs. It is important to do your research and seek reliable sources when choosing a lawyer to represent you. I hired Mr. Echols after ...a sit-down, face-to-face meeting with him. I discussed my needs, concerns, and expectations with the adoption. I am the birth mother. I found Mr. Echols by going down the list of agencies and lawyers under 'Adoption' in the phonebook. Never heard of him in my life at that point. I just found out I was pregnant and the father left back to his country. Financially, I could not keep the baby (I was a stay-at-home mom w/ 3 kids under 10, and this father up and left no warning). Mr. Echols already had a couple in mind that were top-notch people who were ready to adopt their 2nd child. No doubt in my mind he was the perfect fit for my needs. However, I wanted that eye-to-eye contact and good-person energy vibe, so we met at a restaurant with his assist. We talked for about two hours and filled out the paperwork. Mr Echols is a God-send. He never missed a beat. He took care of everything I needed and his assistant is the best! I found out I was having twins, I called him immediately and told him. He said What? Are you serious?!! This is my second set of twins. I had my first 3 kids in my care a girl and twins. I said I am telling you the twins have to go together. I will NOT have them separated. If the parents do not want twins then the adoption for them is off the table. They were thrilled to adopt them! Mr Echols never lied to me, never misled me, never took advantage of me, never preyed on me. He not one time bribed me, coerced me, or made me do or try to make me do anything that I did not want to do. He let me call the shots on tailoring the adoption and I left the legalities up to him because he is the expert there. Thirteen and a half years later, Mr Echols and I have stayed in contact, as he is the mediator or middle man who relays messages for me to the parents for birthday wishes and holidays. He helped me understand things about myself through this adoption that made me turn my life around. I am about to graduate college in 10 weeks. I am forever grateful to him and what he has done for my twins and for their parents who are top-notch people who are giving them a life of great opportunities that I would not have been able to provide. I love all of them. I miss my babies very much and it was the hardest thing I ever did but I know they are loved and have a great life. To come across this one review on here that speaks of Mr Echols this way is appalling and completely false about his character. I am not paid for this review it is my truth and experience with Mr. Echols and I stand on it. He is NOT a predator he is a man of integrity and a God-fearing man who helps couples become families. To speak less of him is wrong. Thank you for this opportunity to stand up for an outstanding man in our society who helps women and children in a time of need such as this.
