Professional misconduct and had previous suspension

I retained this attorney after my previous counsel relocated and explained from the outset that I was involved in a high-conflict domestic relations matter with limited financial resources and primary responsibility for caring for my young child. My experience was marked by poor communication, dif...ficulty obtaining responses to questions and requests, and significant concerns regarding the handling of my case. I repeatedly requested filings and action on relevant matters but she did not file and charged me for those communications instead. I later learned at a court conference that a modification filing had not been properly filed and required correction. Despite paying a substantial retainer, I ultimately felt I was not receiving the representation I had retained counsel to provide. After repeated attempts to move my case forward and address my concerns, I requested withdrawal and proceeded on my own. This was an extremely costly and disproportionate fees in scaling of what services occurred, didn’t occur, and what filings were actually done. I was already managing ongoing litigation and caring for my child full-time, and I received better results acting pro se as my interest were not a factor. Based on my personal experience, I would not retain this attorney again

Disappointing Experience

I had high expectations based on what was promised before we signed the retainer, but unfortunately none of it materialized. No meaningful work was done, and when I repeatedly requested a billing summary, it was never provided. Instead, I was made to feel as though I should be grateful I wasn’t being... billed more. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Think twice before hiring her.
