A little over a year ago, I was hit by a car while on my road bike. The car was going the wrong way on a one way street, however, I did run through a stop sign because the intersection looked clear. Because I biked this route daily, I never thought that there would be a vehicle heading the wrong dire...ction. As a result, I was severely injured; my collar bone was fractured, I suffered a severe abrasion on my left arm, had a major concussion (luckily, I wear a helmet), and nerve damage to my left shoulder. After a year and quite a bit of physical therapy, I still cannot fully lift my left arm. Being an avid cyclist and rock climber, this was a major hinderance.
