I came to Candi under extremely unfortunate circumstances, and she was my saving grace. Not only did she help me achieve what I wanted to in my case, but she was honest about possible outcomes (good or bad), and worked diligently to stand up for me and fight the battle that had to be fought no matter... how hard she had to fight. I always trusted that she would do everything in her power to help me in my case, and never doubted her advice. She guided me in the right direction, and never made me feel like 'just another client.' She genuinely cared about my situation, was always quick to respond, and made herself available to me in emergency situations regardless of the time of day/night. Candi will always be the one I turn to when I find myself in need of legal representation, and would absolutely recommend her without any hesitation.

I chose Mrs. Peeples to represent me in an (unexpected) divorce after more than a decade of marriage. She was kind and compassionate, but more importantly, she was thorough and effective. I don't know where to begin...Candi was a blessing during one of the most stressful times in my life. I live in Philadelphia, PA but needed a lawyer in Birmingham to handle our surrogacy case. Before finding out about Candi, we retained a different lawyer on recommendation - and what a disaster tha...t was. Luckily, I'm not the type to stand pat and decided to call a few other attorney's. Instantly, I knew Candi was the lawyer we should have retained from the beginning. She responded to my initial inquiry quickly, and even though I retained her at the 13th hour, she got to work immediately on our case - not worrying about obtaining her retainer first. It showed me a level of faith and commitment I was unaccustomed to when dealing with the legal profession (especially up north). She made herself available (her, not some para legal) and talked me off the ledge on more than one occasion. I truly felt like she was a member of my family. Her bedside manner aside, I don't want to take away from the amazing job she did professionally. She helped us navigate the "surrogacy world" which is uncharted and constantly in flux. She did so adroitly, and communicated with us effectively every step of the way. I could go on for hours about my appreciation, respect and adoration for this woman.
