His actions were not consistent with his statement. Multiple instances where there were discrepancies between what he told me my ex had agreed to during negotiations and what the opposing attorney allegedly told my ex that I had agreed to. These repeated miscommunications caused the issue to be draw...n out longer than was necessary. These actions and delays did not benefit myself or my kids just Mr. Kilgo and opposing counsel. --- Did not disclose significant relationship and history with opposing counsel.

Lack of follow through. Poor communication. Failed to file promised settlement. On the day of trial, he called and said the other party had agreed to my settlement proposal. He promised to have something in writing by the end of the day. He and the other attorney filed a continuance citing the settle...ment and had 14 days to file it. He stopped responding to messages. NEVER filed settlement because he was busying secretly forming his new practice. Did not even communicate with me at all for three weeks after trial and when he did message me it was just to ask if I wanted to join new practice. No mention of the failure to complete the settlement. The decision to retain this attorney made an already stressful experience much more nerve wracking. I never felt supported in anyway.
