The t ... rial court denied it. Then I moved to correct illegal sentence. That was denied as well. We appealed the case, but the appellate public defender would not agree to argue my issue. I instructed the Defendant to file a post-conviction motion based on the ex post facto issue. The Second District Court of Appeal agreed that the sentence was illegal and reversed the sentence.
