I presented Bob Gossett with court papers, and other legal documents and explained the background of the case. Bob Gossett reviewed the information. He then said, "I have never seen anybody screw up their own legal representation as badly as you have." When I questioned why he said that, he pointed... out certain passages in the legal documents and then said to me, "You are obnoxious and overbearing. No wonder why you need legal assistance." When I started to cry and I said I was just trying to do the best I could with what I had, he said "I'm just being truthful. Sorry you can't handle it." He then to proceeded to attempt to give me legal advice as to how to rectify the situation. I went to a second lawyer who reviewed Bob Gossett's advice and guidance and said "I completely disagree with everything he has told you to do. Please don't follow his advice." The second lawyer has "specialization" in tenant-landlord relationships - something Bob Gossett doesn't have (even though he's a real estate lawyer), and which is the subject of trying to obtain legal advice. I paid close to $1,000. " When he allowed me to finally finish explaining all of the details, his response was "oh". Not "hey, I'm sorry I cut you off, and didn't let you finish your explanation, and now that I understand more of this situation, I understand why you did what you did." Nope - the only response he had was "oh". He was condescending and arrogant throughout our whole unfortunate encounter.
