Pamela Jean Helton

From personal experience having had to deal with Pamela Helton is the classic definition of a "dirty lawyer". She will do anything she can to get more and more money including damaging children. She will purposefully extend cases as long as she possibly can to milk her clients for money with no regar...d for the wellbeing of the children involved. If you want a lawyer with no scruples and little interest in anything but her wallet then this is the attorney for you. I only hope that your children are not too badly damaged in the interim and forgive you in the future. She has blindsided more than one mom most of whom realize too late what she's really all about. Even other attorneys are shocked lack of common human decency.

Pamela Helton could not argue worth a rats behind at any of my hearings. The other attorney smashed her. Her motions were garbage and she got reprimanded by the Judge for her horrible work. Do not waste your money. I've also noticed that her positive reviews are the same client leaving multiple revie...ws(lindsay). We can always file a Florida Bar Complaint if wronged.

Pamela Helton originally filed a restraining order for me against my at the time husband. When I wanted to drop it, she told me that myself or one of my children would die. I dropped it anyway. A few months later I went back to her for my divorce. I had already secured a restraining order through dcf... and lake counties dv shelter, it was active during our entire divorce. Dcf was involved numerous times and NOT ONE TIME did she tell the divorce courts ANYTHING about domestic violence. Not only that but she had me create my parenting plan with my abusive ex husband without her or his attorney present, we never went to mediation. After everything was filed, there were numerous big incidents that occurred before another attorney at her law firm was forced to contact dcf and withdrawal the paperwork. She of course charged more money and then my hearing was postponed. She doubled the cost of what the postponed hearing had cost and the stacked that with the cost of the next hearing, knowing I couldn't pay her. She filed a motion to withdrawal and the judge let her. I was left trying to protect myself and my very young children. We survived no thanks to her. Months later I found out she is my ex-husbands sisters attorney. Their father pays her legal fees. I don't think it's a coincidence that she threw my case or our lives in the trash. Be careful if you don't have deep pockets! Your life doesn't matter, your children's lives don't matter, only your bank account.

I would definitely recommend this attorney. She is very professional and straight to the point. My case was very long and in the end I ultimately got what I needed for my family. She made herself available whenever I needed her. She answered all of my questions honestly and kept me on my feet! Pam wa...s awesome in the court room. She was very professional and I felt like she had it all under control. I have to say the same for mediation. Pam kept me calm and prepared for a variety of possible outcomes. I am very grateful that I hired her as my attorney.

I could probably write a book about the kind of attorney Pam Helton is along with her entire staff. However, I'll try to keep it short. In my professional world I keep 6 different law firms on retainer and each of them I've hand selected over the 18 years. I've always said, anyone can write motions a...nd briefs, but the true lawyer comes out when they're in the court room. Pam Helton superseded my expectations from start to finish and inside and outside the courtroom. At times, she likely wanted to ring my neck and at times, I wanted to ring hers. All in all if I could give her a 100 STAR review, I would. You pay for what you get and at times you have to be willing to go the distance. She is in my top 3 of my all time favorites. I have to say that, because my corporate attorney has been with me for 18 years and she'd cry if I put anyone above her. :>)) Lastly, her staff is on fire! They get things done efficiently and on time. They follow up and stay on the ball. If you want an extremely professional law firm to represent you, then I recommend you choose Pam Helton.
