Sara Garcia

I am part of the Debt Defense Division at Bernhardt Riley Attorneys at Law PLLC., where I litigate cases in court on behalf of our clients. I bring a dynamic energy to the courtroom and fiercely advocate for my clients’ rights and interests.

I am a proud Miami local, having called this vibrant city home for over fifteen years. My deep connection to this community fuels my passion for justice and drives me to make a positive impact through my work.

I attended Florida International University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. During my time there, I achieved significant academic accomplishments, including receiving the Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the Liberal Studies Program and graduating with honors.

I continued my education at the Florida International University College of Law. During this transformative period, I honed my legal skills as a law clerk under the guidance of the Honorable Jose M. Rodríguez, an experience that shaped my approach to civil litigation.

After law school, I dove headfirst into a diverse range of legal areas. From handling first-party property litigation and bad faith claims to resolving business disputes and insurance coverage issues, I developed a strong foundation in litigation. I also litigated labor and employment cases on behalf of workers, advocating against discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.

When I am not representing my clients, I enjoy exploring the coast on my paddleboard, spending time at the beach, or taking an indoor cycling class. I value my time with family and friends, as those relationships are just as important to me as my commitment to the practice of law.
