Kelly A. Cook

Kelly Cook was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Cook graduated from Hillsborough High School’s International Baccalaureate program before attending the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Communications, cum laude.

Ms. Cook always knew she wanted to practice law and use her skillset to make a difference in the community that gave her so much. Ms. Cook received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Stetson University College of Law.

Before joining Kemp, Ruge & Green, Ms. Cook was a Partner at one of Florida’s biggest and most prestigious Civil Trial Firms located in Tampa, Florida. During that time, Ms. Cook defended numerous large insurance companies and their insureds in cases including catastrophic and personal injury, medical malpractice, slip and fall accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, tractor-trailer accidents, negligent security, significant wrongful death as well as claims involving defective products. Unlike many of her peers, Ms. Cook has successfully tried Civil Jury Trials early on in her legal career.

Ms. Cook is married and has two young daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
