David Gerhardt Mengers

David Mengers is doing a fine job for me on a misdemeanor charge. Without getting into a lot of syntax, as I've done for him at Martindale, he's very good at what he does. We've had our differences in the last year, as he knows, because I'm ignorant in criminal law, and naive, but, that's not his f...ault. That's mine. I have come to respect him and his vast knowledge and would use him again (hopefully not as I've never been charged with any form of crime). My advice to everyone is this. . . HIRE HIM. He will get the results you need--even for a crotchety, old man like myself. You can't go wrong. Sometimes ole "Procrustes" will even smile for you. His assistant, Cindy, is also a pleasure to speak with, and she will make you smile, she is so professional and pleasant. In a county dominated by "dirty" sheriff cops (see problems MCPD with unreported deaths in their jails, and DOJ investigations, into the pseudo-college grad, Billy [Bob] R. Woods, who claims to have a college degree from Columbia Southern University (a bottom rated on-line school in Alabama that accepts anyone, even those lacking HS--just give them money--a diploma "mill") as I've found out in a LexisNexis search on him, the Sheriff is so darn stupid, one of my corporate attorneys told me, "if this Sheriff's stupidity was measured in people. . . he'd be China." But, nonetheless, David Mengers is as good as they get, and I've worked with attorneys for over 30 years. Yes, he's soft-spoken, but I've discovered along the way, that he DOESN'T NEED TO be like an F. Lee Bailey type. He gets it done without any fanfare. He's so busy, you might have difficulty in retaining him--try begging, like I did. But do yourself a favor. . . hire him. If anyone wants to contact me, I'd be pleased to give you more information. I highly recommend Mr. Mengers. He is an amazing criminal defense attorney. I previously hired another attorney and was VERY dissatisfied with her service. David mengers went above & beyond on my case. I was arrested for a 2cd degree misdemeanor, (that happened in april of 2017) oct of 2019. I was truly not guilty of this charge. David found the evidence in my case had been destroyed & that the statute of limitations had also ran out.
