Almost a year ago I walked into Ron's office hoping I would feel better when I left. I hired him right then and there. I knew I was in good hands! Then trial came along and Ron had done his homework and done it very well. I think the State's Attorney was just as impressed as I was. He argued his case... with such certainty I knew the State didnt stand a Chance.. I believe Ron went above and beyond all measures for my freedom Which is very much appreciated! He was very confident from day one and I saw why. Obviously, we won the case & I felt what I was hoping for when I left his office! Also I thought his fee was very reasonable & affordable that I hired him again for my daughter's case and was very happy with the outcome! I would recommend Ron to anyone that needs a criminal attorney because I know what he's capable of in the courtroom . He's a shark amongst minnows!

With many years of legal problems on my part this is, BY FAR, the worst lawyer that I have ever had. I feel that I would have been better served by a Public Defender. The lack of communication, the lack of advice, the lack of visits in jail (he usually sent another lawyer from his office that knew ...nothing about my case) and the only time he contacted us was when he wanted more money, even more than he originally agreed to. I felt that I was thrown under the bus by a lawyer that just wanted a quick plea deal rather than trying to beat some of my charges. Now I have TWO FULL YEARS to regret my choice. He never took depositions, he never went over the prosecutor's discovery with me, in fact, he didn't do much of anything except for negotiating a plea deal and even at that, how do you negotiate a plea deal without depositions to see what kind of evidence you are up against. This guy was a total waste of time and money and I at least hope that this review will keep some other INNOCENT client from spending two years of their life in jail due to inadequate representation. Sarasota has a lot of lawyers to choose from, give it a lot of thought as you life is in their hands.
