For over three decades, Albert A. Sanchez has built a distinguished legal career in the Sarasota and Manatee region, focusing on construction, real estate and business law. Born and raised in Tampa, he graduated with High Honors from Riverview High School in Sarasota and went on to earn his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida, where he was Articles Editor of the Law Review. Between 1998 and 2014, he managed multiple high-profile development projects—spanning St. Armand’s Circle to Lakewood Ranch—while continuing to represent select clients. He is Board Certified in Business Litigation, held a Florida building-contractor license from 2012 to 2020, and remains active in the ABA Forum on Construction. Mr. Sanchez served on the Florida Supreme Court’s Business and Contracts Jury Instruction Committee from 2018 to 2024 and now chairs the Sarasota Bar Association’s Business Law Section (2024–2025). A 2005 Outstanding Alumni Award winner at UF and former Boys and Girls Club board member, he coached Little League baseball and finds his greatest joy at home with his wife Carolyn, and their three children, Kate, Harrison and Colin.
