Biography
Adam Portnow is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, and is a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Portnow is a member of the Sarasota Bar Association and a Past-President of the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court.
Portnow received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida, where he was appointed Executive Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper Plead the Fifth, and Secretary of the St. Thomas Chapter of the National Jewish Law Student Association.
Portnow received his Bachelor of Science in Digital Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida College of Computer Information Sciences and Engineering. For his work in digital arts and computing, Portnow received the University of Florida President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Originally from the State of New York, Adam is a die-hard New York Yankees, Knicks and Giants fan. Portnow has called Sarasota home for over 25 years.
