Mr. Griffin has twice served as Chairman of the Nursing Home Resident’s Rights Special Committee for the Elder Law Section (ELS) of The Florida Bar. Mr. Griffin has served as an Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA) Area Representative for the Sarasota region, as the 2007-2008 Chairman of the Sarasota County Bar Guardianship Sub-committee. and as a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association Estate Planning Section Planning Committee. Mr. Griffin has also served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the area American Cancer Society.
