Biography
Born and raised in Cuba, Attorney Arrate attained his Juris Doctor ( JD) from the University of Oriente, College of Law in Cuba, and a Master of Law Letters (LL.M.) in American Law from Florida State University, College of Law.
He is licensed to practice law and a good-standing member of the Louisiana Bar Association. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a member of the Cuban-American Bar Association.

Mr. Arrate can be considered an international immigration attorney since he has worked as a counsel for the Cuban Sports Federation, which was entrusted with the processing of complex business and athlete visas for participation in national and international sports tournaments.
Mr. Arrate also worked with Rodriguez & Associates, a law firm in Ecuador, on matters related to civil and criminal litigation proceedings as well as a liason between the Cuban Sport Federation and the Ecuator Sport Federation.
In the U.S., Mr. Arrate is currently working with the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School on the processing of student visas for the school year 2020–2021. Mr. Arrate started his private immigration law practice in 2020 with Arrate Law Firm PLLC.
