Susan handled all the details of a rather complicated adult adoption so that my daughter (whom I adopted many years ago in Russia) could be adopted by my husband. Susan Stockham and her Legal Assistant (Janet is amazing) are top notch professionals. I would definitely hire her again. The adoption process was a very smooth process. I am particularly thankful for the wording used in the Final Judgement of Adoption decree, including that, in addition to the natur...al parents relationship being validly terminated but that also the relatives of the said natural parents were validly terminated as well. I was able to choose the day for my Final Hearing of Adoption actually being given a list of dates to choose from. And I should add that all this was done during the pandemic Covid-19 crisis. It was a beautiful experience before the Honorable Judge and she stated everything appeared to be in order and granted the adoption. And that is what you want to hear!
