My client was charged with felony rape of an unconscious person. After a night out with friends, the alleged victim claims that she woke up to my client having sex with her without her consent. My cl ... ient testified that she was flirting with him at a club and later that night they had consensual sex. A conviction would have meant he would have to register for the rest of his life as a sex offender. Additionally, my client was here from another country on a visa and worked in a field which required a professional license. If he were convicted he would have lost his job and been forced to leave the U.S. After a two week long jury trial, the jury found my client not guilty.
