OUTCOME: We won.

German was the victim of fraud and, as a result, an immigration judge ordered his removal in 1996. A couple of years later, he married a U.S citizen and they had three children. For years, they tried t ... o fix German's immigration status with no success. In 2013 they came to our office and told us about their case. We requested DHS to join us in requesting the immigration judge to reopen and terminate German's old deportation order. The judge did so and consequently, German was able to become a legal permanent resident.
