Great Attorney

Ben helped us with several things but mostly an issue with an employee we had to let go. He made sure we were all buttoned up and protected from anything frivolous that could be thrown our way.

Property Manager

Ben Yormak is an incredible employment /labor/ discrimination lawyer. His expertise will wow you and ensure a great outcome to those looking for justice in this difficult field. I would recommend his team for any and all cases in wrongful dismissal and or discrimination. We won a case that was diffi...cult at best and his team of professionals stuck it out until the final offer was presented and accepted by our side. I highly recommend this Lawyer and his team of professionals.

Personable and professional collide to get results

Mr. Yormak helped me with a complicated disability/wrongful termination lawsuit. I had no idea where to start and he reassured me from the beginning. His entire team is professional and courteous. There wasn't a time throughout the duration of my case that I couldn't reach Ben or a member of his team.... He went to bat for me, he doesn't back down from a challenge while at the same time remaining professional, and keeping his clients best interest first. He did a wonderful job with my job, I highly recommend him to anyone to anyone that asks.

A Lionheart with Gumption and Moxie

Ongoing litigation involving multiple federal civil rights violations and discrimination retaliation. Please bear this is in mind, there are many incompetents masquerading about with their lofty professional credentials. Hence the old adage: If you find a good doctor, dentist, mechanic or lawyer, ...keep them close. When my government employer violated my civil rights and retaliated to my standing up against their discriminatory actions, I was unjustly terminated. Other legal firms were disinclined to take my case, acting quite pusillanimously and without gumption. Large and small alike, all either cited: no paucity of clients, a dearth of specie in the case, or that it would be to their future disadvantage to oppose this civic entity. Finally an attorney with a conflict of interest highly recommended Mr. Yormak, stating that they would personally retain him, and their firm did not relish opposing him, as his tenacity and intelligence had given them fits in the past. I called Mr. Yormak straight away, not expecting to speak with him, but he was available and expressed concern. I provided my collateral to his most excellent paralegal Evelyn, and she swiftly set up a meeting for the next day. Spending almost 90 minutes, without a consultation fee, Ben was professional and thorough in his review and assessment. Where the others fell short, Mr. Yormak had the foresight to know there was a case, and being undaunted, he had the gumption to go up against the "evil empire" which the others loathed and feared. Ben was to the point and let me know how reasonable it was to retain him. Ben also expressed confidence through his rationale as to how and why we could prevail. Therefore, I hired him on the spot. Ben is very serious about what he does and thus far exhibits as an excellent strategist. Although "the jury is still out" and we reserve the right for further review... At this juncture I believe, as the old adage cited above states, you'll want to keep Benjamin Yormak Esq. and his crack paralegal Evelyn, VERY close.

Great outcome and Awesome Attorney

When I was terminated from my job, I called Mr. Yormak right away. I was not inspecting to speak with him right away, but he was available and was concerned. I provided all the facts to him and then we set up a meeting. He let me know right away how much it would cost to retain him as my attorney and... that he was confident that we would win. He let me know that there was no need for me to keep checking in with him to find out about my case, basically that he would keep in touch with me and let me know of any changes. He did keep in touch with me regarding my case and I kept in touch with him if I moved or what was going on with me regarding my case to help him. Mr. Yormak did not just settle with any amount the other party offered. He would let me know of his advise and I either agreed or disagreed. Of course I agreed with him and he knows his stuff. He was a great person to work with and if I ever needed an attorney, he would be the first person I would contact. He is upfront and honest from the beginning and he generally cares about his clients. His whole team is great! I would definitely recommend Mr. Yormak for anything.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
