John Christian Clough

John Clough is Board Certified in Business Litigation by The Florida Bar and has been featured in The Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend Legal Elite and Super Lawyers Magazine.  His firm Zung Clough PLLC was recognized as a Top Law Firm in the U.S. by U.S. News and World Report Magazine in 2015 and 2016.  

John practices in the areas of corporate law and commercial litigation, and has extensive trial experience in a variety of complex business matters. The cases he handles include various types of construction, real estate, and business disputes, as well as cases involving unfair competition, restrictive covenants, usurpation of corporate opportunities, theft of trade secrets, deceptive trade practices, and corporate control disputes.

John is certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in business litigation law which includes dealing with the legal problems arising from commercial and business relationships including litigation of controversies arising from those relationships. His expertise includes evaluating, handling and resolving such controversies before state courts, federal courts, administrative agencies, mediators, and arbitrators.

He also serves as general counsel to many ongoing corporate clients who have companies in the following industries: healthcare, medical practices, resorts, golf courses and country clubs, advertising and marketing, international importing, hospitality, technology, among others.  

He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Florida, the United States Supreme Court, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
