Nicole L Goetz

Nicole L. Goetz is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family, Circuit Civil, and Appellate Mediator. Her practice is focused on mediation and dispute resolution for attorney‑represented clients in family, civil, and appellate matters.

She brings nearly thirty years of litigation and appellate experience to her mediation work. Her background includes service as a trial court staff attorney, representation of clients with a wide range of financial and personal circumstances, and leadership in both legal and non‑legal organizations. This experience gives her a deep understanding of the legal system and the practical challenges attorneys and their clients face.

Nicole served as Chair of The Florida Bar Family Law Section after many years of committee leadership and executive council service. During her term, she prioritized the rewrite of the Bounds of Advocacy and worked on policy initiatives that shaped family law in Florida.
Her experience founding and leading businesses supports her practical and solution‑focused approach to mediation. She helps attorneys and their clients identify key issues, understand available options, and engage in productive dialogue. Her approach is primarily facilitative, and when consistent with mediator ethics and party self‑determination, she provides evaluative assistance.

Nicole is available to mediate in person in Naples and Southwest Florida, and online throughout Florida. Meetings and mediations are available by appointment.
