Marilyn J Michales

I am a former client of Marilyn J. Michales. I hired her to handle a dissolution without children. She managed to drag the case out without any results for 11 months. She was on vacation the vast majority of the time I tried to contact her. She withdrew from my case before the divorce was final, ...filed an attorney's lien against me, and later forced a sheriff's siezure of my personal property and subsequent auction to satisfly her bill. ($55,000.00 and change for NOTHIING!!!) I had to hire a new attorney to handle my divorce case, he had to start from scratch because Marilyn J. Michales and her assoicates had done nothing!!!!!!! Beware, she talks a good talk but doesn't walk the walk!!! I know several former clients of hers, which I found after the fact, that have had the same or worse experience than me. Don't be fooled by her empty promises, she is in it to take your assests. Do not sign an assignment of rights, that gives her the opportunity to take her fees from your portion of the divorce settlement. She will run the fees up until she gobbles up all your assets.
