Daniel E. Buley

Daniel Buley was born and raised in Connecticut. He graduated from the University of New Haven in 2010 with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies: Dispute Resolution and Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement, and a Minor in Psychology. While studying at the University of New Haven, he was an active member on the Trial Team and received the David Maxwell Law Award in Criminal Justice. He then attended Roger Williams University School of Law to achieve his Juris Doctor in 2013, where he also earned the Dean’s Award, Bridge Award, Public Service Award, and a Jurisprudence Scholarship.

Following graduation in 2013, Daniel was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and joined a private firm specializing in criminal law, juvenile delinquency, child protection, family law, and habeas corpus. Through his work as a certified Special Public Defender and habeas attorney, he developed strong litigation, investigation and communication skills that allowed him to meet the needs of his clients.

Daniel then became a trial attorney for Liberty Mutual handling their complex automobile and premises liability matters. He sat first chair on over forty trials, conducted over eight hundred depositions, defended over one hundred arbitrations, and regularly argued discovery and evidentiary motions in court.

In 2021, Daniel and his family moved to Florida. During his transition he worked as a Complex Bodily Injury Adjuster where he resolved complex coverage issues, regularly valued and negotiated bodily injury settlements, and strategized with counsel in preparation for trial.

In July of 2025, Daniel joined Boatman Ricci. He is serving clients across Florida and Connecticut, assisting the firm with all aspects of civil litigation and personal injury. Daniel lives in Naples with his wife, Marinela, and two children, Aidan and Jacob. In his spare time he serves on the prayer team and teaches middle-aged students at his local church and also serves as a marriage counselor with his wife.
