Nicole L. Goetz, P.L. represents Southwest Florida clients in marital and family law cases, including complex and high-net-worth divorces and appeals. Ms. Goetz represents clients in all phases of their cases—including settlement, litigation and appeal—and provides advice and assistance to other attorneys on complex legal issues and appellate matters.
Ms. Goetz graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida in Tampa and received her Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1997. She is a former staff attorney at Brevard County Legal Aid in Brevard County and for Florida’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit. She was a managing shareholder at Asbell & Ho, P.A., where she focused on the litigation and appeal of complex family law issues. She was named to the list of Florida’s Legal Elite in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 by Florida Trend Magazine, and she was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2010 and 2011 by Super Lawyer’s Magazine. Ms. Goetz served as 2017-2018 chair of The Florida Bar Family Law Section after numerous years of committee leadership and executive council service and several awards in recognition of her service.
