Biography
Graduating with High Honors, Britton received her Juris Doctorate in December 2002 from the University of Florida Levin School of Law and was admitted to practice in Florida in 2003.
Accredited by the Veterans Administration, Britton’s practice concentrates in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, and Medicaid and VA benefits. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, and the Florida Bar Association. Britton was the 2020 President of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and is its 2022 Member of the Year. She currently co-chairs the Florida Joint Public Policy Task Force for Florida’s elderly and disabled. This task force is comprised of leaders of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and meets weekly to champion issues affecting some of Florida’s most vulnerable citizens.
Passionate about her commitment to the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center, she has been on the Board of Directors since 2004 and is a past president of the organization. Named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2010-2013, Britton was recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2015-2023.
